What I do
Editing
Branded films, documentary and factual pieces, interviews and case studies. I take a project from rushes to final delivery, including music, sound design and After Effects work.
Music-led edits
Live sessions, making-ofs, promos and EPKs for artists, bands and events. Cutting to music is where I get the most joy, and it’s the work I’d love to do more of.
Showreels and sizzles
Agency reels, event sizzles and year-end round-ups. I go through a lot of material quickly, find the strongest moments and give them a shape that holds together.
Fresh Eyes Creative Review
A written, independent review of a near-finished cut, for when the work is strong but something isn’t quite landing.
How I work
Every film has a heart: the idea or feeling that everything else should serve. My job is to find it and protect it.
That comes down to pacing, emphasis and restraint. What to hold on, what to let go, and when to leave a moment alone.
Sound and music are part of the structure for me, and they are often where the last 15% of a film comes from.
I work fast, and I share early. A first cut arrives while there’s still time to change direction, so nobody is surprised at the end.
I’m not precious about an edit, and changes don’t faze me. I welcome all feedback and listen deeply, because the most important thing is getting it right.
